Media Buyer
As a Media Buyer you will act as such on behalf of gamespipe. We want you to look for advertising opportunities in online display, mobile and paid search channels. This position is cross functional as you will be engaged with outside media contacts and interact with various levels of internal management.


Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing, evaluating and establishing new media opportunities and partnerships
  • Manage buying cycles and fluctuations in inventory
  • Monitor, analyze and optimize ongoing advertising campaigns
  • Propose monthly budget allocations with a goal of maximizing ROI
  • Control testing and implementation of creative ideas to improve conversion rates on campaigns


Qualifications & Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in performance based online media buying
  • Ad Network, Web Site Publisher or relevant industry experience
  • Additional experience in paid search, real-time bidding and/or mobile is a plus
  • Creative problem solving and strong decision making skills
  • Detailed oriented and have excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Gaming affinity

What does an Affiliate Manager have to do?
  • Developing and pro-actively managing a portfolio of affiliates ensuring you have in-depth understanding of their activities
  • Acquisition, retention and activation of new affiliates and partnerships
  • Identifying new client opportunities
  • Analysis of campaigns, reporting ROI results & devising strategies to move forward
  • Monitoring and analysing results of all campaigns, including weekly and monthly KPI reports - conversion rates optimisation
  • Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships through regular contact which will include face to face meetings, telephone and email communication


What are ideal Affiliate Manager qualities?
  • Has been in the affiliate business at least 2 years and has experience in performance marketing/affiliate management gained ideally in the gaming market
  • Proven track record of significantly growing publisher portfolio revenues
  • Strong knowledge of how the gaming business works
  • Highly experienced in performance marketing with a proven track record in management of KPIs (CTR, CPO, CPL and ROI)
  • Self-motivated and detailed orientated
  • Enjoys working in a team and developing solutions which are outside of the box
  • Experienced in MS Office especially MS Excel and Outlook
  • Fluent in German and English with very good written skills

Business Development Manager
Being a Business Development Manager for gamespipe you take actions with game publishers and developers from all over the world. Your job is maintaining good relationships with our clients by day-to-day contact and acquiring new customers. During advertising campaigns, you stay focused on the goals of both advertisers and network, ensuring the growth of revenue.


Key areas of responsibilities will include:
  • Establishing strong relationships with new clients/ advertisers
  • Managing existing customer accounts through day-to-day contact which will include negotiation of budgets, competitive payouts and additional campaigns
  • Ensuring execution of the campaign strategies and objectives by providing daily tactical support to gamespipe’s Affiliate Managers
  • Interact with the Head of Affiliate Management in respect to campaign prioritisation and business development roadmap.


Requirements/ Skills:
  • Performance marketing/ affiliate marketing background of 1-2 years gained in the gaming market
  • Extensive network of game developers and game publishers
  • Proven track record of significantly growing advertiser portfolio revenues
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint to analyse campaign results, generate reports and to build presentations
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English (mandatory), German and/ or a third language (Chinese, Spanish)
